I bought a gold plated necklace from Astley Clarke it looked lovely when it first arrived. The finish was really nice, it felt smooth rather than cheap, and I even got a few compliments when I wore it out.

That said, I was a bit disappointed to notice some tarnishing around the clasp after just a few months, especially since I’d been careful with it. It’s not completely ruined or anything, but you definitely have to watch out for perfume, water, and wearing it too often. I still like the necklace, but I expected it to hold up a little better.

As soon as I tried it on, I could tell the fit was spot on. The sizing guide actually helped a lot, which I didn’t expect

I was expecting something a little more polished, but the stones ended up looking cheaper than I hoped. The gold vermeil started wearing off quickly, and the gemstone had this dull, lifeless look to it. So, you know, perfect if you're going for “fancy from a distance.”

I requested a refund weeks ago and I’m still waiting, which is frustrating. The service hasn’t been great so far. Has anyone else had the same issue with refunds taking this long?

I really like the jewellery, but the customer service was a little slow getting back to me. I had a question about my order and it took a couple of days to hear anything, which was frustrating. When they did reply, it was basically along the lines of “sorry for the delay, we’re looking into it,” and they did end up sorting everything out. So overall not a bad experience, just wish the communication had been quicker...

It doesn’t look quite like the photos, which was a bit disappointing. It’s not terrible, just not as accurate as I expected. Also, the reminders to leave a review were way too pushy, I would’ve gotten to it without being nagged so much.

I felt a bit misled by how easy the exchange process was supposed to be. It ended up taking way too long, and I had to deal with more hassle than I expected just to get it sorted out.

It arrived on time, so I can’t really complain. I guess I was half-expecting some kind of delay, but everything showed up when it was supposed to.

The packaging was really plain, and for the price, I expected it to look a bit more "gift ready." I actually felt a little awkward handing it over.

It might be fine if you're just buying something for yourself, but if I needed a nice present, I probably wouldn’t order from them again

Just a heads up if you’re thinking of ordering this with personalisation — mine really didn’t turn out well. The engraving was super faint and noticeably off centre, which made it look cheap. For the price, I expected much better and was really disappointed when it arrived

I waited around for a promo code, which helped a bit, but the discount wasn’t anything too exciting. the whole “waiting for a sale to make it feel worth it” thing seems avoidable if the prices or promos were just a bit better. I got a ring from Astley Clarke and it’s been good so far. I’ve worn it most days for a few weeks, probably more than I should for testing a new ring, and the stones haven’t shifted or snagged on anything, so that made me feel better about it.

I’m giving it 4 stars because when I looked really closely, one little bit of the setting seemed slightly uneven. Customer care said it was fine, and it does feel sturdy, so maybe it’s not even a real issue, but once I noticed it I couldn’t totally unsee it.

I was disappointed with this bracelet. The clasp felt cheap right out of the box, and it ended up breaking after I only wore it twice. I was also confused because the email I got made it sound like a much better quality item, but that wasn’t my experience at all.

The outer parcel was plain, and there was some creasing inside. It’s not bad at all, just didn’t really have that wow factor for me. 3 stars.

I checked the site out earlier this week because I was hoping to find a new piece of jewellery, and my first impression was that everything looked really clean and easy to browse. After spending a bit of time looking through the designs, though, they felt a little too plain for me. For the price, I was expecting something a bit more unique or eye-catching. A few pieces were nice, but by the time I finished browsing, nothing really stood out enough to make me want to buy.

I had a annoying time using the site. Pages were loading really slowly, and the checkout process wasn’t very clear. Some of the wording made it sound like things were included or simple, but then it felt different once I got to the next step. Overall, it was more confusing than it needed to be.

i picked up a pair of earrings in the sale and they’re actually really nice for what i paid. they feel decent quality and look good on. i’m not sure i’d pay full price, as it does seem a bit steep, but overall i’m happy with them. delivery was fine too, no issues.
